Starting in 2009, a technical feasibility study—underwritten by a grant by the Province of Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands—was conducted on the viability of the new composite PV module technology. That, in turn, was followed by a formal technical assessment conducted by KEMA Nederland B.V. in Arnhem, The Netherlands, which conclude that the system represents:

“…a technologically solid path carried out by partners who are experts in their relative fields…the innovation is considered to have a low technical risk.” (Report no. 55106274-TOS/NET 10-5335, January 19th, 2011)

TULiPPS is currently building prototypes for testing by early PV module producers. Our goal is to be commercial by mid-2012 with products initially focused on light, flat roofs common to large industrial buildings.
